look who is updating her journal. wow.

yeah ok life has been absolutly crazy as of late. i had my two day depression/feel sorry for myself thing last week. kinda sucked. but then i got over myself and moved on. lol.
and i got super news today!! well, i had to get a second job..which im actually excited about. lol. im working at perkins now on 75th and I-35 here in kansas city. well, i got hired on as a hostess...but today i had my orientaion with the general manager and he offered to have me hostess two days a week...but the kicker..he wants me as a server and to only hostess until we find someone else to do that so that i can serve full time. how awesome is that!!! and average tips for perkins...blew my mind...10-15 an hour in tips. and he said the regulars tip good there..especially the overnight regulars. which are the hours ill be working. ok and no one ask me how im going to swing the hours ill be working. lol. no one is going to be seeing much of heather because literally if im not at home asleep or changing for one of the jobs..ill be working or at school. literally. my hours...yeah they suck..but i have a job that i hopefully will like and all the day servers are nice and im sure the night ones will be too. i was already greeted by three of them today and my manager says that the girl that i train under is awesome and she even calls the people she trains to welcome them to perkins. how rockin is that. lol. yeah, so pay rocks..even when im a hostess for two nights of the week, ill be making 7 an hour. that is good pay for a hostess. the only thing that sucks is the hours... but what can ya do. im so excited. and now ill actually be able to pay my bills ontime. yea for that. lol.

i got sad news yesterday. mike called me to find out when im going to get the last of my stuff from the apartment, and im getting it tomorrow. but the sad news was that a relative and friend of mine and his committed suicide this last week. his cousin lost her husband in the war in iraq and then she killed herself last week. she was such a wonderful person. the only one out of his family that remebered that my name was heather and not holly. for some reason they called me holly. except for her. and she was so smart. its so sad. but hopefully she is at peace now.
other than that mike and i had a very good, very civil conversation last night. that was nice because i had been having alot of issues and i think he had been too.

umm...what else has been going on....well, i havent seen trisha in what seems like forever and i miss her so so much!!! im going to commit to calling her once each day, even if i have to call her on my lunch hours at one or the other of my jobs. i just cant go a week and not talk to her. she is such a huge part of my life and just like a sister and i feel so bad when we dont get to talk often. its like a need my daily dose of trisha!! love you babe! and thanks for always being there for me, even when i can be the hardest person to get ahold of.

jersey and i found a diffrent apartment that is just beautiful and much cheeper..well some what cheeper than the other we were looking at. its at 50th and Baltimore, just off the plaza. they call it the south plaza area. its a two bedroom/one bath, hardwood floors, brandnew appliances..and im talking like brandnew hardly been used, walk in closets, and its painted a very pretty color instead of stark white, and were on the top floor which is nice for the noise level. and its only 600 a month. he was charging 650 but he said that he would take 600 a month for it. rock on. im so excited. :) and i cant wait to get all moved in and have my friends over.

other than that...had an excellent time at the powwow this weekend. it got pretty much rained out on fri night, but sat and sunday were awesome. micheal and jersey went with me on saturday night. micheal had never been to one, so he had alot of fun. and jersey grew up with them, so it was nothing new to him. then we went to club NV sat night, and ran into jason there and kyle was working. RJ and Patrick were not going to come out, but they ended up coming out and suprising us. We all ended up back at RJ and Micheals house and spent the night there and they had some people over..such as joe and another guy whose name i cant remeber. it was alot of fun. then, sunday i went and worked the powwow with steve and brent. we had so much fun!!! and we sold alot. i worked the cassette table. and hopfully we will have alot of new customers because of being out there. as steve said... we had to work the crowd, but once you got them talking, they were so happy to have someone talk to them. :) by the end we were sweaty and exhausted. lol. we broke the tent down...so not a fun thing. and then went home, changed and went to dinner. then, we came home and watched the season finally of 6 feet under...very good finale... and then we went to bed.

okay i better get going now. ill try and post again soon. it will be easier once we get into the new apartment and i have internet access at home. :)
